                     String documentBase)

normalize

public static String normalize(String absoluteURL)
                        throws MalformedURLException

This method removes "." or ".." from absolute URL. I needed this method because the JDK doesn't do this automatically when creating URLs.

Parameters:

absoluteURL - the absolute URI to normalize

Throws:

MalformedURLException
